Stepping Out for a Great Cause

We are thrilled to announce that the FlatHomes team will be undertaking a fundraising walk around the stunning Gower Peninsula, all in aid of The Rescue Hotel. This incredible local charity works tirelessly to provide a safe haven and a second chance for countless dogs looking for their forever homes.

From veterinary care and rehabilitation to finding loving families, The Rescue Hotel relies on community support to continue its vital work. That's why the FlatHomes team is committed to helping them make an even bigger difference.

The Details: Our Team's Walk

When and Where?

  • Date: **TBC**
  • Route: A picturesque circular walk along a section of the Gower Coast Path, showcasing some of the most breathtaking views South Wales has to offer.

Why We're Walking

Beyond the incredible scenery and the satisfaction of supporting a fantastic cause, our team's walk is about:

  • Embracing the fresh air and stunning Gower landscape.
  • Strengthening team bonds through a shared challenge.
  • Getting some exercise and boosting our well-being.
  • Most importantly, helping raise crucial funds for animals in need.

About The Rescue Hotel

The Rescue Hotel (Cardiff Dog Home) supports up to 800 stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs every year. They ensure these dogs receive any veterinary treatment they may need, assist with behaviour training and provide any additional home comforts a dog may need to make their stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible before they are adopted in to a new loving home.

Follow Our Journey!

We are incredibly excited about this event and the positive impact our team can make for The Rescue Hotel. Your support, whether through donations or cheering us on, will be hugely appreciated.

Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates and photos from our walk! Let's make this a resounding success for our four-legged friends.
