Your Local Estate Agents in Cardiff and Penarth
FlatHomes is a family run business with dealings throughout Cardiff and Penarth, including parts of Barry, Newport and the lower valleys. Established in 2000, the name derives from the similarly spelt Bristol Channel island, Flat Holm. Set up in a conservatory by a private landlord, Gwilym Rees, primarily just to help other independent landlords find tenants for their vacant properties the business soon expanded to cover all aspects of property services.
Back in 2000 with it being the early stages of website development the primary focus for sourcing business was newspaper adverts, boards outside properties and predominantly word of mouth. Moving on over two decades later FlatHomes still prides itself that the main source of business is still the sharing of positive feedback from the numerous clients we deal with, rather than a hard sell attitude.
The long-term vision of the business is growth. FlatHomes has always considered itself a Lettings and Property Management company first and foremost. However, the business is looking to expand its sales division and ever growing network of relationships with tradesman in and around the city to continue providing its excellent maintenance service.
